After your initial assessment and introduction your not alone. We will follow up with you after 3 months to reassess your program ,see what and where you are and answer any questions you may have. We can adjust where necessary and progress you towards your fitness goals.

Dean is the person who took me into fitness world many years ago in China. It was my biggest life change experience. I was 280 lbs tall teenager with no exercise in my life. before I met Dean, I was addicted to computer games, no confident and eating junk food everyday. I remembered that first time I was training with Dean I could not even bench press an empty barbell. When I decided to train with Dean, my life was changed since I made that decision. Now, fitness is already one signaficant part of my life. I just become personal trainer in Toronto. I become an fitness inspiration in my family and friends. I become more active and more confidence. I've been competing in athletics since the age of 13 and have been representing Essex for the past 3 years. I finally made the decision to add a PT into my training regime and I cannot fault the work Dean has done with me this season. Despite not being able to train properly on the track for part of the season due to a hamstring injury, I was still able to continue with my PT sessions in the gym. Dean supported me throughout my injury and has encouraged me in every gym session. I've only been working with Dean for a few months and myself and my coaches have already noticed massive improvements in my training and racing. Dean has helped me to become mentally and physically stronger. I am excited to see what I can do next track season after a solid winters training in the gym!

I was so fed up not getting anywhere on my own, I decided to go to Dean and haven’t looked back since. He pushes me hard and has given me the confidence to come to the gym on my own. I have been seeing Dean twice a week and come 3 times on my own and have started to notice the difference not only losing inches but improvement in strength and feeling fitter. Dean creates a programme for your needs and abilities, if you have any ailments this is all taken into account. Dean will also notice when things become too easy for you and change your programme to make it harder and more challenging, this way you will see results.

It has however been a great decision, the environment is warm and friendly - everyone makes you feel very welcome. The facility is immaculate, well equipped and offers PT that is exceptional! I started training with Dean at Fitness @ Summers Park in August 2020, not the best time to try and get back into training thanks to COVID! I had always been into my sports and fitness but as with most people, work and life always seemed to provide an excuse as to why I couldn’t get back into training. In my job as a Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon time is always at a premium, and the very nature of my subspecialty is quite physical anyway. So I just found reasons to not train. The opening of Fitness @ Summers park provided me with little excuse as to why I couldn’t get back to the gym – being literally a stones throw from my house! Dean took me on for my PT sessions and it was instantly apparent how experienced he was and how passionate he is about his job. His determination certainly rubs off on you, and in no time it was easy to see the gains and benefits to me physically and mentally. Dean provides a bespoke training programme enabling you to really work at the areas that you either want to, or need to. The discipline of training is amazing at helping melt away the stresses of everyday home and work life. Despite an initial stop-start journey back into training thanks to COVID restrictions and my work being affected heavily by COVID, Dean has guided me skilfully back into keeping fit and made the whole experience enjoyable. The facilities are superb, great equipment, fantastic people and a real friendly atmosphere. I cannot recommend Dean & F@SP highly enough to anyone who is in two minds about joining.

The gym is beautiful. Great brand new equipment, immaculately clean, I felt safe coming back after re-opening as everything has been thought through. Dean is a really great trainer. I love my sessions and can see that progress is being made. He trains in a fun way which makes the session enjoyable but gives you a hard work out that will reap the benefits. There is a great happy vibe at Fitness@Summers Park.

Ok a long story short(ish). I've had back ache for almost 30 years, which now combined with age and a subsequent foot injury, that also took its toll on my back, rendered me inactive fitness wise for 2017. After being medicated to the point of feeling desperate, I was offered an MRI which confirmed reasons for my back pain but also highlighted a complete lack of strength in my lower back muscles. Armed with this medical knowledge, I approached Dean for help. I explained everything I knew and had learned to him and he went away and researched this information. What has happened over the last 8 training sessions for me has been unbelievable and absolutely unexpected - Dean has provided me with a way to exercise whilst protecting my back, he has offered support, encouragement, motivation and the confidence to get moving again. The total bonus for me is I haven't needed pain killers for my back in 12 days!! Which at the end of last year was totally incomprehensible. I put all my faith into Dean and with all his (and my) hard work and dedication I now see a future that moves!!!

He has slowly rebuilt my confidence, making a marked improvement to my training sessions and given me the realisation that I can still reach my fitness goals. Well I’ve been meaning to write this up for ages, so here it goes, Dean Smith. I started working out with Dean 16 weeks ago, (just over that now) the challenge to lose weight, and learn to use more of the equipment at the gym. That was it or so I thought! I had been going to the gym (Busybodys) for about a year, was a bit fitter, but still over weight, so decided time to get professional support and guidance. The first 8 sessions with Dean were an eye opener, hard work, and sometimes getting pushed to my limits, but always made me want to go back for more, and get better, (fitter and slimmer) I’m at the end of my 16 sessions now, I have lost 12lbs in weight, I feel so much fitter and better in myself physically and mentally, my waist measurement has gone down, not as fast and as much as Dean and I would of liked, but with his ongoing support and my drive to achieve my goal the millimetres are slowly dropping off. I can’t thank Dean enough with the encouragement he has given and how that has pushed me on to achieve much more than I thought I could. Thank you Dean.
